Last year CrossFit introduced the Service Cup a year after discontinuing the Occupational Games. In 2025, the Service Open and the Service Cup is returning.
The 2025 Service Open is for individuals who serve their communities with the following professions:
- Affiliate Owner (#affiliateowner)
- CrossFit Trainer (#crossfittrainer)
- Medical Professional (#medicalprofessional)
- Educator (#educator)
- Military Veteran (#militaryveteran)
- Active Duty Military (#activedutymilitary)
- Law Enforcement (#lawenforcementofficer)
- Firefighter (#firefighter)
- First Responder (#firstresponder)
Unlike last year, the EMS Responder is not a designated category.
Athletes looking to compete in the Service Open can add their respective hashtag in the “Service Occupation” box on their competition dashboard.
As for the 2025 Service Cup, dates and additional details have yet to be released. Last year it was June 6-13.
Just speculating, but there could be a chance the Service Cup is paired with the Community Cup which will be in June.
