The 2024 CrossFit Semifinals kick off today with the Asia and Europe regions. Athletes will take the floor first in Busan, South Korea, for the Asia Semifinal. A few hours later from Lyon, France, the Europe Semifinal gets underway.
With the time zone differences and the Day 1 action being hosted on the CrossFit Podcasts YouTube channel, here is everything you need to watch the action live.
ASIA
Live from Busan, South Korea, the action actually starts Thursday evening in the United States thanks to the time zone difference.Â
How Many Qualify for the CrossFit Games?
Thanks to the new methodology in calculating the qualifying spots to the CrossFit Games this season, the Asia women picked up an additional spot this year. However, with only 30 teams at the Games, Asia will only send one team to Ft. Worth, Texas. Here are how many will advance out of Asia.

Livestream
While the Europe Semifinal is hosted by the French Throwdown, CrossFit is hosting the livestream. As we shared earlier this week, the first day of competition will be on the CrossFit Podcast YouTube channel, not the main CrossFit Games channel.
Chase Ingraham will host the CrossFit Podcast coverage on Friday live from Lyon, France. The coverage, similar to last year’s two events on the CrossFit Podcast, will have less bells and whistles than the main coverage on Saturday and Sunday. However, this year there will be real cameras covering the action, not just cell phones, so expect better picture quality.
Below are the links for all three days of coverage. You can also watch on the CrossFit Games website.
