It’s been five months since I speculated on Emily Rolfe’s elbow injury. It’s also been five months since I was told not to speculate about said injury. Sure, she withdrew from WFP Tour Stop 1. Sure, the video showed that she grabbed her elbow after missing a heavy jerk. Sure, she said “time to go home and heal” in an Instagram post. But speculating is bad.
Today, however, Rolfe answered a question on her Instagram story about said (speculative) injury. The question was, “What percentage is the torn elbow at now?”
Rolfe responded with, “I’d say 95%! I was told if I went the rehab route (vs surgery) an aggressive recovery time would be 6 months. We are at 5.5 currently and it’s going SO WELL I feel stronger everyday.”

Since the injury, Rolfe placed 18th at the NorCal Classic, 19th at WFP Tour Stop 2 in Mesa in August and this past weekend she took 13th at the Rogue Invitational.
