Saxon Panchik joined The Sevan Podcast again this morning. Saxon, who just flew back from Scotland after competing at the 2024 Rogue Invitational, almost got a ticket while driving on the wrong side of the road. Luckily, he played dumb and the cop let him off with a warning.
Saxon said that the Rogue Invitational was a great experience, a perfect set-up for the athletes and the P&J Arena was packed.
Sevan and Saxon then shift to the upcoming CrossFit Games season…
First, Saxon confirmed he will compete in the 2025 CrossFit Games season. Saxon then said he feels like this season is a turning point in the sport of CrossFit. Almost a reset. That is, we could see who is competing because of their love for CrossFit versus those who are just in it for the money.
Saxon has been around CrossFit since he was a kid and values what CrossFit was back in the day. It’s always great to hear his perspective of where the sport and CrossFit is today and how he gives back to the community. One of those ways is through his mentorship and 1:1 programming on spanchikfitness.com.
