After a year of taking 2nd place, Rich Froning’s CrossFit Mayhem Freedom is back on top. The team from Cookeville, Tennessee, won the Team competition for the third time in four years.
Mayhem Freedom had a strong weekend with three event wins and only one finish outside the top 10, a 16th on Team Triplus.
Sam Dancer’s CrossFit Invictus X took 2nd place. After bouncing in and out of a podium spot, CrossFit Invictus X showed their strength on Sunday. A 2nd place finish on Sunday morning followed by an event win on the final event secured their silver medal.
And in 3rd place is CrossFit OC3. The team from Davenport, Iowa, was in 2nd place entering the last event on Sunday afternoon, but a 6th place finish was not enough to hold off CrossFit Invictus X. It will be the first time that CrossFit OC3 has finished on the podium. Last year OC3 finished 9th.
