Rogue Fitness Sued for Patent Infringement

Jump Rope Systems, LLC, has filed a patent infringement against Rogue Fitness. The lawsuit alleges that Rogue Fitness copied the company’s pivoting-eye jump rope technology and used it in at least 14 different Rogue-branded jump ropes.

According to the plaintiff, investors of Jump Rope Systems approached Rogue Fitness about the technology years ago, but would later implement the technology in numerous jump ropes since 2011. Included in these jump ropes with the possibly patented technology are the speed ropes with sponsored athletes including Rich Froning, Chris Spealler and Tia-Clair Toomey.

Rogue Fitness is reportedly denying the allegations and will fight the lawsuit in court.
