2024 CrossFit Games Prize Purse Breakdown Revealed

The 2024 CrossFit Games prize purse has been published in the rulebook and for most athletes, it is the same as last year. The men’s and women’s CrossFit Games champions will earn $315,000…the same as last year. The top team will also take home the same $100,000 to split among its members.

In fact, the payout for individuals, teams and masters athletes at the CrossFit Games is the exact same as 2023. There is still not a prize purse for the top teen athletes.

Did anything change?

Yes, there were two changes to this year’s prize purse.

First, the cash prize for winning the Oceania, South America, Asia and Africa Semifinal increased for individuals to $10,000 (last year it was $5,000). Second, the podium finishers in the adaptive divisions will receive less than last year.

There is a caveat to the prize purse for the adaptive divisions. In 2023, there were only eight adaptive divisions where the podium finishers received $5,000 for 1st place; $3,000 for 2nd place; and $2,000 for 3rd place.

In 2024, there are now 15 adaptive divisions, all of which will compete in person this September in San Antonio, Texas. The top prize in each division, however, is $2,000. Second place will receive $1,000 and 3rd place will take home $500.

In 2023, the total adaptive division prize purse was $160,000. In 2024, the total prize purse for the adaptive athletes has shrunk to $105,000.
