CrossFit has requested bank account information from individuals and teams who won prize money at the 2026 CrossFit Games. This signifies that the in-competition drug testing conducted in San Jose is complete and that no on in the individual or team division failed their drug test.
This year we saw two Masters athletes receive 4-year sanctions for violating the drug testing policy. Roan Low and Wayne O’Hara both failed their drug test when their sample contained exogenous testosterone and is metabolites.
Outside of those two Masters athletes, no one else failed a drug test conducted by CrossFit in 2026.
However, there were plenty of individuals who received sanctions for other reasons.
Three individuals received a 4-year sanction for editing a video submission during an online stage of competition. Another two individuals received a 1-year sanction for falsifying the birthdate of a teenage athlete. And then a whopping 15 people received a 2-year sanction for judge misrepresentation during Online Semifinals.
